Beacon Lodge Dental Sugery

Dear Patient

We have missed you all and we are really looking forward to welcoming you back to Beacon Lodge. We hope you have remained safe and well and that you continue to do so.

The safety of our patients and our team are of the utmost importance to us. You will notice things have changed when you return to see us but please be reassured, it is still us behind the masks!

Treatment and clean down times need to be extended for the foreseeable future following guidance to keep us all safe, so please bear with us. Our opening hours may differ.

So on to the changes you are likely to encounter on your next visit:

  • When booking in for an appointment we will be asking you more questions than usual. This is to ensure that it is safe for you to attend the practice and to help us prepare for your visit.
  • Nobody will be granted access on a walk in basis. Access will be strictly by appointment.
  • We may not be able to treat you on the first appointment. You will be assessed initially, and we may have to get you back for further treatment appointments. Of course if you have a dental problem we will endeavor to do this as soon as possible.
  • Medical histories, consent forms and any money transactions will be dealt with in house or if you prefer, over the phone or by email.
  • We ask you to only attend by yourself unless with a minor or a carer is required to attend.
  • Please do not bring any excess baggage such as heavy coats or large shopping bags into the practice.
  • Please bring a pen.
  • Please arrive promptly 5 minutes before your appointment time. Remain in your car or outside the building if on foot and either call us or ring the doorbell to confirm that you have arrived.
  • Please wear a face mask/covering when entering the practice.
  • Upon entering the building, you will be asked to confirm your Covid-19 status.
  • You will be asked to place any unnecessary items into a plastic container E.g. keys, phones, coats etc. This will remain outside the treatment rooms.
  • We will then ask you to sanitize your hands.
  • If you have to wait for the dentist the receptionist will allocate you a seat in the waiting room to ensure social distancing.
  • The toilet use will be restricted so please “prepare” before leaving your home as much as possible.

Some of our team will be dressed in masks and gowns, this is for your safety so please do not worry. We are all highly trained in infection control and will always maintain these extremely high standards.

You will be able to book follow up appointments at reception. If you prefer, we can contact you regarding any further treatment by phone, email or text so that we can discuss your treatment requirements remotely and book your further appointments accordingly.

Thank you for your patience and please stay safe. We look forward to seeing you again soon.

Kind regards

Mr Mark Dillingham and all the team at Beacon Lodge
